SBM is co-sponsoring this event with 2 other organizations because we are inspired by these civilians and the others in the Free Gaza Movement who were willing to act lawfully, peacefully and nonviolently on Aug. 23rd, 2008 to challenge Israel's collective punishment of the Palestinian people: Israel's Siege of Gaza. By peacefully breaking Israel's siege and blockade of Gaza, these human rights workers stopped a war crime, the collective punishment of the Palestinian people, which was a violation of the 4th Geneva Convention. Come join us to hear what happened.
